The form four CSEE results 2023 explains the Education journey of more than 572,338 students who started their secondary education journey since 2020 after finishing the Standard Seven in 2019. 572,338 candidates sat for the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) from November 13, 2023, to November 30, 2023.   • Using your browser, visit the NECTA website at www.necta.go.tz.
  • The NECTA website homepage will open. Navigate to the top menu of the website and click on the ‘Results’ section. A drop-down menu will appear; click on the ‘CSEE’ link.
  • The CSEE result page will open. Kindly click on the ‘2023 CSEE results’. The new page will open, containing a list of all secondary schools and exam centers registered by NECTA.
  • To check the results for your school, find the name of your school and click on its link. Once you click the link, the school result page will open with a list of candidate results by index number.
  • To check a candidate’s results, kindly search for the candidate’s index number or scroll through the listing until you find it. Once you have successfully accessed your results, please remember to save them or take a printout for future reference.

If you encounter issues like slow website loading or server errors, consider refreshing the results page or try to access the page later. These issues often arisen from high traffic volumes, as many people attempt to access the results simultaneously.

In such situation’s, using SMS is a simple and convenient way to check the result. To check the results via SMS, please follow the simple steps provided below:

  • Dial *152*00#
  • Select number 8. ELIMU
  • Select number 2. NECTA
  • Choose the type of service 1. MATOKEO
  • Choose the type of Exam 2. CSEE
  • Enter your Exam number and Year, for example: S0334-0556-2019
  • Choose the type of Payment (The cost for each SMS is Tshs 100/=)
  • After completing the payment, you will receive a text message with the results.

Best advice for candidates who didn’t do well in the Form four exams in 2023?

For those who didn’t do well in the exams, don’t worry! There is still a hope to reach your academic goals. You can resit the exams as a private candidate in the coming academic year (2024/2025). Resitting the exams serves as an alternative method to successfully clear the examination and achieve your academic goals.

To resitt in the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination as a private candidate, you will need to get registered at any Examination Center of your choice. During the process a payment of TZS 50,000 Registration Fee will be required. After successfully registration, candidates will a chance sit for the form four exams in thecoming academic year as Private candidate and subsequently check their results again.
