The Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) proudly announced a significant leap in academic performance with the release of the 2023 Advanced Level results. This year witnessed a remarkable 6.6% increase in the pass rate compared to the previous year, escalating from an already impressive 88% in 2022 to an outstanding 94.60% in 2023. Availability of ZIMSEC A Level results 2023

Professor Eddie Mwenje, the ZIMSEC board chairperson, confirmed that the 2023 November Advanced Level examination results are available from 12 January 2024, starting at 1500 hours. The results can be accessed online through the ZIMSEC portal for a period of five days. Additionally, heads of Examination Centres can collect the results from ZIMSEC’s regional offices beginning on Monday, 15 January 2024.

Accessing Your ZIMSEC A Level results 2023 Online

Starting from 12 January 2024, students can access their results online. This facility is available for a limited time, only until 17 January 2024. Here’s how you can check your results:

Step 2: Enter Your Details

You’ll need to provide several details to access your results:

  • Centre Number: Enter the six-digit number of your examination centre.
  • Candidate Number: This is a four-digit number unique to you.
  • Session: Choose the relevant examination session (June or November).
  • Level: Select ‘A’level’ from the drop-down list.
  • Year of Examination: Input the year you sat for the exam.
  • Candidate Name: Start with your surname, followed by your first name and initials (if applicable).
  • Date of Birth: Use the format dd/mm/yyyy.

Step 3: Create Your Login Credentials

  • Username: Choose a username for future logins.
  • Password: Create a strong password including a capital letter, digits, and non-alphabetic characters (e.g., Zimsec123!).
  • Confirm Password: Re-enter your password for verification.
  • Security Phrase: Create a unique phrase for added security.

Step 4: Registration and Access

Click the ‘register’ button to complete the process. If successful, you’ll be redirected to the login screen. In case of errors, they will be displayed on the screen. Remember your security phrase and username, as these will be crucial if you forget your password.

Collecting Results from Regional Offices

For institutions, heads of examination centres can collect physical results from regional offices starting from Monday, 15 January 2024. The regions are categorized as follows:
