Students were shouting loudly. Then suddenly we kept quiet. The Headmaster entered the assembly hall quietly. Other teachers were there too. We stood up. “Good morning students,” the Headmaster greeted us. “Good morning sir,” we responded. Then he told us to sit down. “I am standing before you to welcome you form ones to our good school,” he said. ” I know you are from different primary schools. You are now in a secondary school. Life here is very difficult from where you come from. So, we don’t expect you to be stupid and troublesome. You must be good students, you must respect all workers. Do you here me? ” he shouted loudly. ” Yeeees”, we answered. The Headmaster went on: “In this school I hate some students, but I like others. I hate students who are lazy, but I like students who are hard working. I hate students who are foolish, but I like students who are intelligent. I hate students who are dirty, but I like students who are smart. I hate students who are rude, but I like students who are friendly. I hate students who are quiet, but I like students who are charming. I hate students who are slow, but I like students who are fast. I hate students who have no respect, but I like students who are polite. I hate students who are troublesome, but I like students who are cooperative. I like students who when punched, they punch back. Do you here me? “Yeeeees,” we answered. “Any questions?” The Headmaster asked.
